USA Ambassador Michael Battle visit to PHL-IdC and opened doors for future support in development of our laboratory facilities.

The establishment of molecular lab at PHL-IdC was support by USA Government through CDC and the purpose of this visit was to see the facilities, its impact to the targeted Zanzibar community and possible support needed to expand and sustain molecular diagnostic capability,

The visit was lead by Hon Deputy Minister of Health Zanzibar Mr. Hassan Khamis and attended by officials from CDC, MDH and other MoH officials
